SAG has a contract, the new tv season shoots are well underway, and I’m getting auditions, so things have greatly improved.
“Lucy, A Period Piece”, a UCLA short film I did last year for director Julie Sagalowsky was a finalist for a 2009 BAFTA (British Academy Film/TV) Student Film Award and won the AFI Dallas Audience Award for Best Short and 1rst Place in comedy for the Student Emmys (awarded by the Academy of TV Arts & Sciences). Julie’s brow is now officially laden with laurels.
Bible Cliff Notes, a web series in which I play Moses, has been accepted to the Friars Club Comedy Film Festival in New York.
I’m reading one absolutely terrific role, and several more peripheral roles in a reading of Mark Porro’s screenplay MONSTER CHILD this coming week.
I’m starting a new (for me) acting class with Karen Austin, and continuing to study commercial acting technique with Stuart K. Robinson.
The election for SAG offices is underway, and I’m reading and watching the various candidates’ statements and trying to decide where to place my bets...whoops, I mean votes.
Commercially, I've done ads for Cheerios, SAP software, Vodaphone and Sony in the past few years.
Call me when you need a doctor, a lawyer, a bureaucrat or perhaps a shady bartender - experienced with comedy and drama, straight ahead acting technique and improvisation.
Call me. We'll have fun. At least I hope so.
